Dru and Jenna

My dad's brother, Jody, passed away on Easter Sunday in Ft. Worth, TX. The service at Ft. Snelling was last Tuesday.
Relatives came into town for the service, including my cousin Jaime and her daughter Jenna. Dru met Jenna, who will be 2 in June, for the first time. They really enjoyed each other. Unfortunately Jenna lives in Indiana so it will be awhile before we see them again.

Adorable Story

I want to remember this story so I am posting it here.

On Saturday afternoon my parents, Dru and I were at Midway Stadium. My parents were walking on either side of Dru, each holding one of her hands. It was really cute. I was walking along side them when suddenly she quickly dropped their hands and ran over to me and grabbed my hand. I didn't cry but was very surprised so really could have. What a sweet moment!

Earlier that same day I was crying while rocking her since there are very few days with just her left. Maybe she can sense my horomone levels going crazy...

Peanut's Foot

This was taken at the beginning of March. His foot measured at 6cm, I'm sure he's grown a bunch since then :)

Belated Easter Pics

Final Stretch

I am officially under 2 weeks to my due date. Here is a photo of me at 36 weeks. Now that Peanut's arrival is just around the corner we are getting a little anxious. I hope we are prepared. We can only imagine the changes that are about to hit us. How is Dru going to react? Will Peanut be a good eater and sleeper? Not much longer to wait to get our answers...

Happy Easter!

After 2+ weeks of the flu in our house we are starting to feel better. Dru was the one to begin the illness cycle. She was such a cuddler, though now she is better so that has stopped. Bummer! I am having a harder time shaking this bug. I am going to assume it's due to my pregnancy. Peanut should make his appearance in less than a month. We'll see if he delays his premiere like his big sister.

Spring pictures at daycare were last week.
We were told she was a bit of a "ham".
Here she is sitting with a real bunny!
