On our third day we drove across town to meet Rick and Barb, our neighbors we were lucky to live next to at our last house. They now live in Surprise, AZ. We sure miss them being close. We really enjoyed this time with them and the food was delicious! Following breakfast we drove back to Scottdale to the McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park. We rode on the mini train while the kids rode inside one of the rear cars. Who knew they would find that more fun?! They were all smiles when they got out of the car. Grandma Sue took the kids on the carousel and then they played on the different playgrounds.
After the train park we met two more cousins for lunch. Beth and Laura live in AZ and were able to meet us for pizza near the train park. We were able to meet Beth's boyfriend, Nick, who Dru really liked hanging out with. Then off to the pool again for their last swim. Yvonne came down to visit with us for the rest of the evening. It was nice to spend some time just taking it easy.
