Reed was on a baseball team this spring and was clearly the best batter! We were able to catch some of his games to see him play. He obviously excels over the other kids his age. I can already see his confidence by being on the field. I am excited to see where this takes him!

Chutes and Ladders
A few Tuesdays ago we joined Grandma Sue and Reed for some play time. We went to a park we had not been to and were glad we checked it out. It was cloudy and sprinkling but Dru and Leo didn't mind hitting the water feature. After a few hours of playing hard we headed back to Grandma's for lunch. We will definitely have to go back again!

Delta Airlines sure puts on a fabulous party! Each year Delta has two employee block parties. One in Atlanta and one in Minneapolis. They invite the employees and their families for unlimited food, beverage and entertainment. There is a huge area for jumpers, kids games, face painting, music and treats. They had trick bike riders, a classic car show, Delta company groups, free giveaways, a photo booth, and constant live performers of all kinds. We are amazed each time we go on what a great time we have. These days most companies have cut back on the "extras" for employees. It is really nice to feel appreciated, and I don't even work there! The kids really love it too!

Dru's Preschool Graduation
Dru participated in her preschool graduation tonight. She did a wonderful job and we are so proud of her. We were all impressed by how brave they were singing and speaking in front of a room full of adults. I didn't cry as much as I thought I would, thank goodness!
Dru led her class into the room

Grand Ole Day
We met our friends the Kinney family at the Grand Ole Day parade in St. Paul this past Sunday. I overestimated the temperature, it was quite cold in the morning and we didn't dress for it. The parade started at 9:30am and we watched about half of it then headed to the jumpers. It was pretty busy but it was in the sun and free! The kids loved the Smurf area that was promoting the new Smurf movie. Then we went to get lunch and had a picnic followed by some time at a park. The afternoon turned out to be sunny and warm so I let the kids skip their naps to enjoy it. What a fun day!
Waiting for the parade to get to us
